Here we are, another start to another year! Seems so crazy that time can possibly go THIS quickly.
My goals for this site is to update it a few times a week. I would like to say everyday, but realistically, I just run out of time most times and know that if I aim for 2-3 times a week, maybe I'll make it :D
Some of my ideas are weekly, I'll post financial updates (we're working on being debt free SOON-when I say soon, I mean ahead of schedule of the payments...) and ideas/things I've found to work to cut corners/save money. I'll post some recipes...usually healthy and maybe even gluten free. And then, if time allows, I'll post some parenting moments. My kids have grown up so much (they are 3 and 5) that it literally seems like yesterday they were born.
For today, I'm posting the 13 things I would like to do in '13...
1) Run 5 5k's and by October be ready to try a 7k or 10k.
2) Have a date night once a month with my husband.
3) Pay off at least one debt (car, cc, student loan, etc)
4) Reach my weight goal (I'll post that later :D)
5) Work out at least 3 times a week (twice running, once strength)
6) Start visiting the library every other week with the kids
7) Go on a vacation with my husband (I'd even be okay with the kids too ;-) )
8) Have the kids spend at least one night a month at grandparents/aunts/uncles houses (They need to spend time with people other than mom and dad!)
9) Spend more time with my friends (and visit the ones that are farther away!!)
10) Save $$ on every trip shopping, whether that means coupons, shopping for sales, etc - my goal is a minimum of $10/trip. (That would seriously add up to about $50/month)
11) To continue my growth with our Church
12) To treat myself to something once a month (massage, haircut, nails, etc)
13) Update this blog at least twice a week! :D)
So far, for #1, I have a date in July, 2 for sure in August...

When is your date in July, and where is it?? I was thinking about starting to train...it's the only alone time I get!!
ReplyDeleteIt's July 14th (Sunday) and it's at the MN State Fairgrounds. It's the Twin Cities Color Run (which I've been told is FUN!) Come on up for the weekend ;-) If you need 'help' training, I swear by the C25K program (couch to 5k)!!!
